Monk <br /> <br /> Noes: None <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Milloway, seconded by Commis- <br />sioner McClary and carried unanimously, the following resolution <br />was adopted: <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the CABARRUS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS: <br /> <br /> 1. That Notice Of Intent to apply to the Local Government <br />Commission for the approval of the following bonds: <br /> <br />$9,800,000 <br /> <br />$8,000,000 <br /> <br />$900,000 <br /> <br />Sanitary Sewer Bonds; <br /> <br />School Bonds; <br /> <br />Water Bonds; <br /> <br />be published on behalf of the County by the County Finance Officer <br />on the 24th day of July, 1978, and that said County Finance Officer <br />file an application with the Local Government Commission for its <br />approval of the issuance of said bonds, which bonds shall be subject <br />to the approval of the voters of Cabarrus County. <br /> <br /> Chairman Hawfield authorized Commissioner Hammett to do <br />preliminary work on referendum procedures to follow and report <br />this information to the Board at the August, 1978 regular meeting. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Milloway asked Chairman Hawfield for a specific <br />date of completion of the Subdivision Ordinance in order to advise <br />the Planning Board. Chairman Hawfield stated the Planning Board <br />probably could not have it ready for the August meeting but to <br />see if it could be completed for the September, 1978 regular <br />meeting. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hammett, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Cook and carried unanimously, 78 mattresses were declared surplus <br /> property. Charles McGinnis, County Manager, stated the mattresses <br /> would be buried at the landfill. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hammett, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Cook and carried unanimously, the following budget amendment was <br /> approved: <br /> <br /> GENERAL FUND <br /> <br /> INCREASE REVENUE <br /> <br /> 10-348-36 Summer Youth Grant $2,951.00 <br /> <br /> <br />
