184 <br /> <br /> Chairman Hawfield asked if anyone would like to speak for <br />or against the renaming of Linker Road to Byles Road. Mr. <br />Johnny Foster, a resident of Linker Road, stated opposition to <br />this change. Chairman Hawfield noted a Linker Road in the <br />Winecoff area of Cabarrus County and authorized the County <br />Manager, Charles McGinnis, to discuss this matter with the <br />County Planner, Jack Alston. Action was deferred until the <br />September, 1978 Board meeting. <br /> <br /> Blair D.
