Cline for another three-year term on the Planning Board. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner McClary, seconded by Commis- <br /> <br />sioner Hammett and vote carried with Commissioner Milloway voting <br />no, Attorney Boger was authorized to renew the option on the <br />Caldwell property for six months for 2% of the price, or $8,000.00. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hammett, seconded by Commis- <br /> <br />sioner Milloway and unanimously carried, Commissioner Cook was <br />designated as the voting delegate for Cabarrus County at the <br /> <br />71st Annual Conference of the North Carolina Association of County <br />Commissioners. <br /> <br /> Mr. Frank Roberts, Planning Director for the City of Concord, <br />stated that it would be advantageous for Cabarrus County to <br />participate with the City of Concord in requesting a "Survey and <br />Planning Grant-In-Aid" from the North Carolina Division of <br />Archives and History which is now taking applications for its <br />Fiscal Year 1979 Survey and Planning Grants. Mr. Roberts stated <br />the grants are made on a competitive, fifty percent matching <br />reimburseable basis and will range between $2,000 - $25,000. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Milloway and unanimously carried, the Board approved the application <br /> and submission of a grant proposal of $23,900.00 for planning and <br /> surveying of historical sites in Cabarrus County. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hammett, seconded by Commis- <br /> sioner Cook and unanimously carried, the following road petitions <br /> <br /> <br />
