2OO <br /> <br />WATER BONDS <br /> <br />Shall the order adopted on August 22, <br />1978, authorizing not exceeding <br />$900,000 Water Bonds of the County of <br />Cabarrus, North Carolina, for the pur- <br />pose of providing funds, with any other <br />available funds, for constructing a <br />portion of a water system for said <br />County, including the drilling of a <br />well field, the construction of a <br />water pumping station, an elevated <br />water storage tank, a water distribu- <br />tion main and appurtenant facilities, <br />and the acquisition of necessary land, <br />rights of way, and equipment, and au- <br />thorizing the levy of taxes in an amount <br />sufficient to pay the principal of and <br />the interest on said bonds, be approved? <br /> <br />YES <br />NO <br /> <br />Section 5. The Acting Clerk of the Board of Commis- <br /> <br />sioners is hereby directed to mail or deliver a certified <br /> <br />copy of this resolution to the County Board of Elections of <br /> <br />Cabarrus County within three days after the adoption hereof. <br /> <br />Section 6. This resolution shall take effect upon its <br /> <br />passage. <br /> <br />Thereupon, upon motion of Commissioner Milloway, seconded <br /> <br />~y.:Commissioner Cook, the foregoing resolution entitled: <br /> <br />"RESOLUTION CALLING A SPECIAL BOND REFERENDUM" was passed by <br /> <br />the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Commissioners Hawfield, McClary, Milloway, <br />and Cook. <br /> <br />Noes: None. <br /> <br /> I, Cathie K. Isenhour, Acting Clerk of the Board of <br />Commissioners for the County of Cab~rrus, North Carolina, <br />DO HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing is a true copy of so <br />much of the proceedings of said Board at a meeting held on <br />August 22, 1978, as relates in any way to the adoption of <br />four orders authorizing bonds of said County and the calling <br />of a special bond referendum and that said proceedings are <br />recorded in Minute Book No. 17 of the minutes of said <br />Board, beginning at page 192 and ending at page 200. <br /> I HEREBY FURTHER CERTIFY that I mailed or delivered <br />a certified copy of the resolution passed by said Board on <br />August 22, 1978, and entitled: "RESOLUTION CALLING A. <br />SPECIAL BOND REFERENDUM" to the County Board of Elections <br />of Cabarrus County on or before the.third day following <br />the passage of said resolution. <br /> WITNESS my hand and the corporate seal of said County, <br />this 23rd day of August, 1978. <br /> <br />Acting Clerk of the Board of <br /> Commissioners <br /> <br /> <br />
