McGinnis, County Manager, presided over the organization <br />of the incoming Board of Commissioners. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Allen, seconded by Commissioner Bonds and <br />unanimously carried, the Board elected Commissioner Cook as Chairman. <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Cook and unanimously carried, the Board elected <br />Commissioner Bonds as Vice-Chairman. <br /> Chairman Cook presided over the remainder of the meeting. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Milloway, seconded by Commissioner Bonds <br />and unanimously carried, the. Board reappointed Mr. John Boger as County <br />Attorney. <br /> The Board requested that the accounting firm of Sherill & Smith be <br />present at the January meeting to answer questions relating to the <br />County's 1977-78 annual audit by this firm. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Milloway, seconded by Commissioner Bonds <br />and unanimously carried, the Board moved to reappoint Sherill & Smith CPAs <br />as the County's Audit Firm. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Milloway, seconded by Commissioner Lentz <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the following nominations to <br />the Cabarrus County Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee as submitted <br />by the four Nursing Homes' Administrators in the County: Mr. Browdis E. Massey <br /> Mrs. Kenneth (Martha) Williams <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Milloway, seconded by Commissioner Bonds <br />and unanimously carried, the Board moved to table the remaining appoint- <br />ments to the Cabarrus County Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee <br />until after lunch. <br /> <br /> <br />
