Broad-based participation in the formulation of <br />these goals will result in a better informed citizenry. <br /> <br />Conferences with school officials and others to determine their policies <br />toward the recreational use of school facilities and their plans for develop- <br />ment and to explore the possibility of joint participation in future programs. <br /> <br />The collection of data required for the study; traffic studies, population <br />studies, maps, zoning plans, et cetera. <br /> <br />On-site inspection of each public, voluntary or private recreation area or <br />facility and program and an evaluation thereof, and of each area proposed <br />for future development. <br /> <br />Presentation of preliminary findings and plans for review and comments. <br /> <br />Preparation of final draft of Plan and review. <br /> <br />7. Presentation and interpretation of the Plan to City and County officials. <br /> <br />8. Assistance in promoting and publicizing the plan. Two days are allowed in <br /> this proposal for this purpose. (Public hearings, et cetera..) <br /> <br />9. The Planner will be available on a continuing basis for additional services such <br /> as site planning on a negotiated fee basis. <br /> <br />D. COMPENSATION <br /> <br />The fee for the above services will be $12,240.00 with progress payments to be <br />made on work performed to date as mutually agreed upon. Monthly billing dates <br />to be negotiated. <br /> <br />In the event.that the printing is done at the client's expense, the fee will be <br />reduced by $860.00. The Planner will furnish camera-ready artwork, report covers <br />and original typed manuscripts. <br /> <br />If a concurrent Study is undertaken for the City of Concord, the fee will be re- <br />duced by an additional $600.00. <br /> <br />Signing this proposal constitutes an agreement for the above services. <br /> <br />for Cabarrus County, N.
