465 <br /> <br /> The Board discussed the possibility of holding public hearings and work <br />sessions at the evening meetings and conducting regular County business during <br />the day meetings. No action was taken regarding this matter. The format of <br />the agenda for each meeting will be at the discretion of the Chairman and the <br />County Manager. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner Payne and <br />unanimously carried, the Board set a public hearing for 7:00 P.M. on Monday, <br />December 15, 1980, for the following road name change - Unnamed Road to Dewitt <br />Drive. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Payne and <br />unanimously carried, the Board appointed Commissioner Cook, Vice Chairman of <br />the Centralina Council of Governments, as the County's delegate to the Council <br />of Governments for the year 1981. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner Lentz and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the appointment of the following <br />alternate delegates to the Centralina Council of Governments. <br /> 1st Alternate - Commissioner Nash <br /> 2nd Alternate - Commissioner Payne <br /> 3rd Alternate - Commissioner Lentz <br /> 4th Alternate - Chairman Bonds <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Nash, seconded by Chairman Bonds and unanimously <br /> carried, the Board appointed Commissioner Lentz and Commissioner Payne as <br /> liaisons to the Park and Recreation Advisory Council. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner Payne and <br /> unanimously carried, the Board appointed Chairman Bonds to serve as liaison to <br /> the Farm Agents, Forester, and ASCS Extension Service. <br /> Chairman Bonds made the following liaison appointments: <br /> <br />COMMITTEE LIAISON <br />OR BOARD APPOINTMENT <br /> <br />Planning Board <br /> <br />School Board Meetings <br /> <br />Commissioner Cook <br /> <br />Chairman Bonds <br />Commissioner Payne <br /> <br />Building Committee <br /> <br />Chairman Bonds <br />Commissioner Cook <br />Commissioner Lentz <br /> <br />Law 'Enforcement <br /> <br />Commissioner Lentz <br />Commissioner Nash <br /> <br />City Governments <br /> <br />Commissioner Nash <br />Commissioner Payne <br /> <br />Fire Department <br /> <br />Commissioner Cook <br />Commissioner Payne <br /> <br />Data Processing, Tax Collector, <br />Tax Supervisor, Revaluation <br /> <br />CETA <br /> <br />Armory <br /> <br />Chairman Bonds <br />Commissioner Cook <br /> <br />Commissioner Nash~ <br /> <br />Commissioner Nash <br />Commissioner Cook <br /> <br />Building Inspection Department <br /> <br />NACO <br /> <br />Concord Library <br /> <br />Veterans Service Office <br /> <br />Animal Shelter <br /> <br />Soil & Water Conservation Board <br /> <br />Commissioner Lentz <br /> <br />Chairman Bonds <br /> <br />Commissioner Nash <br /> <br />Commissioner Nash <br /> <br />Commissioner Payne <br /> <br />Commissioner Nash <br /> <br /> <br />
