488 <br /> <br /> Chairman Bonds informed the Board that the Cabarrus County Council <br />on Aging would be meeting on Tuesday, February 17, 1981. Commissioner <br />Cook stated he would be in attendance at this meeting. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Nash and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to change the time for the regular <br />meeting on the third Monday of each month from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. <br /> Mr. John R. Boger, Jr., County Attorney, reported that a suit had been <br />filed against the County alleging that the Building Inspection Department <br />had failed to properly inspect a house as required by the state building <br />code. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Nash, seconded by Commissioner Payne and <br />unanimously carried, the Board directed the County Manager to provide a <br />report to the Board regarding problems and possible solutions to the <br />problems of the Sidestown, Shankletown, and Silver Hill communities. <br /> Mr. W. S. Chandler, Jr., Planning Director, informed the Board that <br />there would be a meeting on February 24, 1981 at 1:00 P.M. in the Commissioners' <br />Room with representatives from the North Carolina Department of Transportation <br />regarding the designation Of a lead agent for transportation planning in <br />the Standard Metropolitan Statistical Area. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Nash, seconded by Commissioner Cook and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into Executive Session to discuss <br />a personnel matter. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Nash, seconded by Commissioner Cook and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to terminate the Executive Session. <br /> Chairman Bonds reported that the Board had taken no action regarding <br /> the personnel matter. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting <br />was adjourned. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
