487 <br /> <br /> F. The Deputy Sheriff on duty at the Cabarrus County Sheriff's <br />Department shall accept designated penalties and issue receipts. The <br />said Deputy Sheriff or any employee in the County Manager's Office may <br />accept the costs to the County incidental to the removal and storage <br />of said vehicle. <br /> <br /> SECTION 5. <br /> This ordinance shall apply between the hours of 8:00. A.M. and 5:00 <br />P.M., Monday through Friday of each week, except that the spaces reserved <br />for law enforcement vehicles shall be reserved for said vehicles at all <br />times. <br /> <br /> SECTION 6. <br /> This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the <br />15th day of March, 1981. <br /> <br /> Mr. Jim Herman, Chairman of the Cabarrus County Parks and Recreation <br />Advisory Commission, presented the Advisory Commission's recommendation <br />that Land Design be approved as the firm to provide design and construction <br />administration services for Phase I of Stonewall Jackson Park. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Payne and <br />unanimously carried, the Board accepted Land Design as the architectural <br />firm for Phase I development of Stonewall Jackson Park. <br /> UPON MOT~ION of Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner Lentz <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the following additions to <br />the state road system. <br /> <br />Kye Drive <br />Monticello Drive <br />Providence Drive <br /> <br />Gettysburg Drive <br />Unity Lane <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner Lentz and <br />unanimously carried, the Board authorized the allocation of $3,100.00 <br />from the capital outlay appropriation in the Sanitary Landfill budget for <br />the purchase of a 10,000 gallon fuel tank with'pump to be installed at the <br />County landfill. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Nash, seconded by Commissioner Lentz and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the appointment of Mr. Michael P. <br />Smith as dog warden. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Lentz and <br />unanimously carried, the Board appointed Commissioner Nash to the Cabarrus <br />County Involvement Council/United Way Planning Department. <br /> Bids received for the demolition of the old County building on Church <br />Street were as follows. <br /> <br />LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT DATE: <br />January 29, 1981 <br /> <br /> CONTRACTOR <br />J.
