522 <br /> <br /> Mrs. Betsy Carpenter, President of the Cabarrus County Animal <br />Protection Aspociation, stated continued support of an ordinance to <br />license dogs and suggested that the City and County cooperate in adopting <br />similar ordinances to provide for the licensing of dogs. <br /> Chairman Bonds requested the County Attorney to draw up a new dog <br />ordinance to be considered by the Board at their next meeting. Mr. <br />Charles McGinnis and Mr. John Boger were also requested to talk with <br />the City Manager and City Attorney regarding this matter. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Payne <br />and unanimously carried, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
