575 <br /> <br />(13) <br /> <br />Reduce the 60-day period allowed from the date the purpose <br />for a temporary sign ceases to exist for the removal of the <br />sign to a 30-day period. <br /> <br />(14) Substitute the phrase "Assessed Value of Sign" for "Replacement <br /> Cost of Sign" in schedule under Section 5.6-10(F). <br /> <br />(15) Substitute the term "salvage yard" for "junk yard" in <br /> Section 5.7. <br /> <br />(16) <br /> <br />Allow off the road parking of tandem trucks with the stipu- <br />lation of no noise in residential districts under Section 5.8-C(3). <br />Ail other equipment or commercial vehicles to be parked in <br />residential districts will be at the determination of the Board <br />of Adjustment. <br /> <br /> Chairman Bonds opened the floor for comments from the audience. <br />Messrs. Pink Motley and. Archie Barnhardt questioned the legality of <br />making the Zoning Ordinance retroactive to the date of the legal notice <br />of the public hearing. <br /> Mr. Manuel Kiser requested that the Board consider all comments made <br />by the citizens at the public hearings. <br /> Mr. Bill Powlas asked the Board to discontinue all discussion of <br />zoning as he stated the majority of persons speaking at the public <br />hearings were opposed to zoning. <br /> The Board scheduled an additional called meeting for 7:00 P.M. on <br />Tuesday, August 4, 1981, with the Planning Board to continue review of <br />the Zoning Ordinance. <br /> UPON MOTION of~Commissioner. Lentz, seconded by, Commissioner Payne <br />and unanimously carried, the meeting was adjourned° <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
