606 <br /> <br />B. The invoice shall contain, at a minimum amount of information, each <br />chargeable item including worker's name, regular labor time, overtime <br />labor time, project number, and wage rate. Non-labor direct charge items <br />and direct charge items and indirect charge items will be itemized. <br /> <br />C. OWNER may at any time, by written order, make changes in the general <br />scope or term of this agreement. If any change causes an increase or <br />decrease in the cost to ENGINEERS, an equitable adjustment shall be <br />mutually agreed upon in writing by OWNER and ENGINEERS. OWNER shall not <br />be obligated to reimburse ENGINEERS in excess of the established cost and <br />total compensation amounts and ENGINEERS shall not be obligated to continue <br />performance under this agreement in excess of the established cost or <br />total compensation amounts unless and until OWNER shall have notified <br />ENGINEERS in writing that the allowable costs have been increased or the <br />total compensation has been increased by agreement modification. <br /> <br />ARTICLE V SERVICES PROVIDED BY OWNER <br /> <br />A. It is understood and agreed that certain services, if needed, will be <br />performed and/or furnished by the OWNER. The services shall include the <br />following: <br /> <br />1. Providing full information as to the OWNER'S requirements for <br />the project. <br /> <br />2. Assisting the ENGINEERS by placing at their disposal all available <br />information.pertinent to the project that is in the possession of the <br />OWNER. <br /> <br />3. Guaranteeing access to and making all provisions for the ENGINEERS <br />to enter upon public and private property as required for the ENGINEERS <br />to perform their services. <br /> <br />4. Examining all studies, reports, sketches, drawings, the construction <br />plans and specifications, proposals and other documents presented by <br />the ENGINEERS, obtaining advice of an attorney, insurance counselor and <br />other consultants as OWNER deems appropriate for such examination and <br />rendering in writing decisions pertaining thereto within a reasonable <br />time so as not to delay the services of the ENGINEER. <br /> <br />5. Giving prompt written notice to the ENGINEERS whenever the <br />OWNER observes or otherwise becomes aware of any defect in the project <br />or changed circumstances. <br /> <br />6. Furnishing the ENGINEERS in a timely manner with copies of <br />pertinent correspondence relating to the project which would not <br />otherwise have been 'delivered to the ENGINEERS. <br /> <br />7. Bearing all costs incident to compliance with the requirements <br />of this article. <br /> <br />B. Insofar as any of the above services are necessary to the ENGINEER'S <br />performance of their obligations under this contract, the OWNER shall be <br />responsible for providing such services in a satisfactory and timely <br />fashion so as not to delay the ENGINEERS in their performance of said <br />obligations. <br /> <br />ARTICLE VI ACCOUNTING SYSTEMS <br /> <br />The ENGINEERS shall have an internal business accounting system which <br />accounts for engineering costs in accordance with generally accepted account- <br />ing principles acceptable to the OWNER. This system shall provide for the <br />identification, accumulation and segregation of project costs. The <br />ENGINEERS must propose and account for costs in a manner consistent with <br />his normal accounting procedures. <br /> <br />ARTICLE VII REPORTS OF WORK <br /> <br />The ENGINEERS shall present verbal and/or written status reports on the <br />project in a format acceptable to the OWNER. The reports shall include <br />the invoices submitted for payment purposes. <br /> <br /> <br />
