108 <br /> <br /> The Board reviewed the proposal from Spectrum Sales Corporation for <br />the in§~t, al~ation of a Digital Alarm Receiving Station at the Cabarrus <br />County Sheriff's Department and the correspondence from Mr. Chipp Bailey <br />of the Centralina Council of Governments regarding this type of alarm <br />system. Questions regarding this alarm monitoring system which were <br />unanswered in the correspondence from Mr. Bailey were raised by members <br />of the Board. The Board requested that answers to these questions be <br />presented to them before action was taken on this matter. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Nash, seconded by Commissioner Cook and <br />unanimously carried, the Board deferred action on the Cabarrus County <br />Alarm Monitoring system proposal until the next meeting. <br /> Chairman Bonds stated that this was the day and hour scheduled for a <br /> public hearing to determine finally whether the assistance in financing the <br /> improvements for Blue Ridge Drive, Dulin Avenue, and Appaloo~-~a Lane shall be <br /> made and asked if anyone were present who wished to speak either for or <br /> against these paving participation projects. No one spoke either for <br /> or against these road imporvement projects. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Cook and <br /> unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following resolution. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING A.S!SESSMENT ROLL <br /> FOR LOCAL IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on the 19th day of April, 1982, the Cabarrus County Board <br />of Commissioners adopted a resolution giving notice of intention to assist <br />in the financing of improvements to rural subdivision and residential <br />streets on the following road(s): <br /> <br /> Blue Ridge Drive, SR #1857: located in Spring Valley Subdivision <br /> AND WHEREAS, the required seventy-five percent (75%) of the affected <br />property owners do request to have the road paved under the North Carolina <br />Department of Transportation Participating Paving Plan and have submitted <br />a cashiers check made payable to North Carolina Department of Transportation, <br />the listed property owners are to be assessed as follows: <br /> MAP # PARCEL # PROPERTY OWNER(S) FOOTAGE AMOUNT DUE <br /> <br />10lA 64 <br /> <br />10lA 65 <br /> <br />10lA 66 <br /> <br />Harold E.
