Wishes to rezone from ARR to RMF-6. <br />Planning Board voted unanimous for a RMF-7 zone. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner Nash and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the change from ARR to RMF-7 as <br />recommended by the Planning Board. <br /> <br />(6) <br /> <br />F. P. Partnership Petition Number 82-19. Highway 49, Township 1, <br />PIN 5518-83-6027. Wishes to rezone from I-X to 1-2. Planning Board <br />voted unanimous for an I-1 zone. <br /> <br /> Mr. Ken Barbee, property owner, spoke in favor of the zoning change <br />from I-X to I-1. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner Nash and <br />unanimously carried, the Board granted the change from I-X to I-1 for the <br />above-stated property. <br /> <br />ZONING TEXT AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />(i) <br /> <br />Page 89, Section 8.3-5 <br />The Board shall give notice of matter coming before it by causing a <br />public notice to be placed in a newspaper of general circulation <br />in the County. The notice shall appear once a week for two (2) <br />consecutive weeks, the first insertion to be not less than fifteen <br />(15) days prior to the meeting date. <br /> <br />Last sentence after the comma should read: The first insertion to <br />be not less than ten (10) days prior to the meeting date. <br /> <br />This change should occur as provided under the amendment October 10, <br />1981, General Statutes of North Carolina, Article 18, Chapter 153A, <br />Section 323. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner Payne and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the zoning text change from fifteen <br />(15) days to ten (10) days as recommended. <br /> <br />(2) Allow service stations in a C-4 zone as a permitted use. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Cook and <br />unanimously carried, the Board agreed to allow service stations in a C-4 <br />zone as a permitted use. <br /> <br /> Chairman Bonds stated that there would be a special meeting of the <br />Board of Commissioners at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 9, 1982, to consider <br />the proposed Farm Use Schedule. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Nash and <br />unanimously carried, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
