Boger, Jr. <br /> COUNTY ATTORNEY <br /> <br /> UPON.MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Lentz and <br />unanimously carried, the Board authorized Chairman Nash to sign the following <br />Amendment to the Security Services Agreemen~ between Cabarrus County and <br />Cabarrus Memorial Hospital. <br /> <br />NORTH CAROLINA <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br />A~NDMENT TO <br />SECURITY SERVICES AGREEMENT <br /> <br />Dated January 5, 1981, <br />By and Between <br />CABARRUS COUNTY and <br />CABARRUS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL <br /> <br />Cabarrus County hereby agrees to make available upon written request from <br />the Secretary of Health and Human Services or the Comptroller General of <br />the United States, or any of their duly authorized representatives, the <br />contracts and books, documents and records that are necessary to certify <br />the nature and extent of costs associated with ~the aforementioned Agreement <br />for a period of four (4) years from completion of all services provided <br />under the aforementioned Agreement. <br /> <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />By: /s/ J. Wall <br /> <br /> Hospital Director <br />Date: 2-25-83 <br /> <br /> UPON MOT'ION of Chairman Nash, seconded by Commissioner Milloway and <br />unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following Public SerVice Resolution. <br /> <br />PUBLIC SERVICE RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Vision Cable of Metrolina was awarded a non-exclusive franchise <br />November 9, 1978, for the provision of cable service to the citizenry of <br />Cabarrus County, including a local public access channel beginning broad- <br />cast availability on December 8, 1981, and the beginning of Cabarrus County <br />Government coverage on August 2, 1982; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Vision Cable has provided coverage of all regular meetings <br />of the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners as a public service to <br />subscribers of Vision Cable; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this coverage has been complete in its presentation. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners this day, March 7, 1983, recognizes the public service rendered <br />to the citizens in coverage of the public interest in the governance of <br />County Government. <br /> <br />(COUNTY SEAL) <br /> <br />/s/ J.
