291 <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Payne and <br />unanimously carried, the Board set a public hearing for 11:00 A.M. on <br />Monday, June 6, 1983, for the Plastics Manufacturing, Inc., project application <br />for the issuance of industrial revenue bonds as approved by the Cabarrus <br />County Industrial Facilities and Pollution Control Financing Authority. <br /> Mr. Jerry Schletzbaum of Abrams-Schletzbaum presented the Space <br />Utilization/Economic Feasibility Report for the Craig Building. He <br />proposed the location of the Planning, Building Inspection, and Zoning <br />Departments on the first floor of the Craig Building with the second <br />floor reserved for future office space. According to Mr. Schletzbaum, <br />the estimated project cost for the renovation as proposed would total <br />$345,350.00 or $35.40 per square foot. <br /> The Board received the report from Mr. Jerry Schletzbaum as information <br />only and no action was taken regarding the possible renovation of the Craig <br />Building. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Milloway, seconded by Commissioner Barnhardt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into Executive Session to <br />discuss real property. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Barnhardt <br />and unanimously carried, the Executive Session was terminated. <br /> Chairman Nash reported that the Board had discussed property belonging <br />to Cannon Mills Company in regards to new facilities for a courtroom and <br />police department in Kannapolis. He stated that the Board had authorized <br />the Chairman and County ~nager to talk further with representatives of <br />Cannon Mills regarding additional details about the property. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Milloway, seconded by Commissioner Lentz and <br />unanimously carried, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
