Planning Board tabled text amendment. <br /> <br /> Mr. Fletcher Hartsell expressed concern that antique shops are not <br />addressed as an entity in the Zoning Ordinance. <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Nash, seconded by Commissioner Barnhardt and <br />unanimously carried, the Board referred the matter regarding the classification <br />of antique shops back to the Planning Board and Planning Staff for consideration <br />and clarification. <br /> <br />(5) Page 7 Section 3 Subsection 3.1 <br /> <br />Add to RMF-7 and RMF-6 statements of intent. <br /> <br />Single family attached units will not be required to have a side <br />yard except for the end units of the complex. The side yard <br />requirements are listed in Subsection 3.2-4 on page 22. <br /> <br />Planning Board approved proposed text amendment. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Nash, seconded by Commissioner Barnhardt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the addition of the following <br />statement to RMF-7 & RMF-6 statements of intent under Section 3.1. <br /> <br />Single family attached units will not be required to have a <br />side yard except for the end units of the complex. The side yard <br />requirements are listed in Subsection 3.2-4 on page 22. <br /> <br />(6) <br /> <br />Permit two-family dwellings in RMF-7 & RMF-6 zoning districts, with an <br />amendment for the necessary lot size requirement. <br /> <br />Planning Board's recommendation was to allow the minimum lot size to <br />b~ 10,000 square feet for the RMF-7 and RMF-6 zoning districts. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Barnhardt, seconded by Chairman.Nash and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the text amendment as presented to <br />permit two-family dwellings in RMF-7 and RMF-6 zoning districts and set the <br />minimum lot size requirement at 10,000 square feet for RMF-7 and RMF-6 <br />zoning districts. <br /> <br /> Mr. Ray Flowers of Harrisburg commended the County for funding the <br />sewer line to Harrisburg and reported that a large company was presently <br />interested in purchasing 300 acres of land along the sewer line. He <br />expressed concern regarding the distance between manholes along the line and <br />was advised that the standard distance was from 450 to 500 feet. Mr. <br />Flowers stated that the sewer line would cross his property for about <br />one and one-half mile and that he "would not think about charging a penny" <br />to install the line across his property. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Milloway, seconded by Commissioner Barnhardt <br />and unanimously carried, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
