377 UPON MOTION of Commissioner Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Payne and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following resolution confirming the assessment roll for Wonderwood Lane. RESOLUTION CONFIRMING ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR LOCAL IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, on the 6th day of September, 1983, the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners adopted a resolution giving notice of intention to assist in the financing of improvements to rural subdivision and residential streets on the following road(s): SR 1234 Wonderwood Lane AND WHEREAS, the required seventy-five percent (75%) of the affected property owners do request to have the road paved under the North Carolina Department of Transportation Participation Paving Plan and have submitted a cashiers check made payable to North Carolina Department of Transportation, the listed property owners are to be assessed as follows: MAP # PARCEL # PROPERTY OWNER(S) FOOTAGE AMOUNT DUE 5516(08)(12) 8738 Danny W. & Vickie F. 180 $360.00 Carpenter 8422 Wonderwood Lane Harrisburg, N. C. 28075 5516(08)(12) 9339 Michael & Patricia Gwaltneyl30 260.00 2209 Rocky River Road Harrisburg, N.C. 28075 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF CABARRUS: (1) That the property owners' share of the improvements is hereby determined to be the amount shown therefore on said general plan map. (2) That the Board of County Commissioners finds as a fact that each lot or tract abutting on the improvements has been specially benefitted by the improvements in the amount assessed against such lot or tract as shown by the preliminary assessment roll. (3) That the general map is hereby confirmed at 10:40 A.M. on the 6th day of September, 1983, and is hereby made the final assessment roll for the improvements. (4) That the Clerk to the Board is hereby directed to enter on the minutes of this Board and the assessment roll the date, hour and minute of the confirmation thereof and to deliver a copy of the assessment roll to the County Tax Collector. (5) That, after the expiration of twenty (20) days from this date, the County Tax Collector shall cause to be published one time in some newspaper published in the County a notice that any assessments contained in the assessment roll may be paid in full to the,County Tax Collector without interest thereon at any time before the expiration date of thirty (30) days.
