Boger, Jr- <br /> COUNTY ATTORNEY <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Barnhardt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following resolution <br />confirming the assessment ~'oll for Groff Street. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING ASSESSMENT ROLL <br /> FOR LOCAL IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on the 6th day of September, 1983, the Cabarrus County <br />Board of Commissioners adopted a resolution giving notice of intention <br />to assist in the financing of improvements to rural subdivision and <br />residential streets on the following road(s): <br /> <br />SR 1420 Groff Street <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the required seventy-five percent (75%) of the affected <br />property owners do request to have the road paved under the North <br />Carolina Department of Transportation Participation Paving Plan and have <br />submitted a cashiers check made payable to North Carolina Department of <br />Transportation, the listed property owners are to be assessed as follows: <br /> <br />MAP # PARCEL # PROPERTY OWNER(S) FOOTAGE AMOUNT DUE <br /> <br />5610(12) 5969 John H. Jones 320.00 $640.00 <br /> 781 Harris St., NW <br /> Concord, N.C. 28025 <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />THE COUNTY OF CABARRUS: <br /> <br /> (1) That the property owners' share of the improvements is hereby <br />determined to be the amount shown therefore on said general plan map. <br /> <br /> (2) That the Board of County Commissioners finds as a fact that each <br />lot or tract abutting on the improvements has been specially benefitted <br />by the improvements in the amount assessed against such lot or tract as <br />shown by the preliminary assessment roll. <br /> <br /> (3) That the general map is hereby confirmed at 10:42 A.M. on the <br />6th day of September, 1983, and is hereby made the final assessment roll for <br />the improvements. <br /> <br /> <br />
