407 <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Lentz <br />and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following schedule for <br />woodcutting at the Cabarrus County Sanitary Landfill. <br /> <br />Wood may be cut from an area which is being prepared for a new <br />garbage hole. Cutting may only be done during hours that the <br />landfill is open for business. <br /> <br />Payment shall be in advance and shall be along the following <br />schedule: <br /> <br />-$25.00 for standard pick-up truck load. <br />-$30.00 per load exceeding pick-up size. <br /> <br />The department reserves the right to limit the number of persons <br />and vehicles involved in the cutting process. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Barnhardt, seconded by Commissioner <br />Milloway and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following <br />Water Rate Schedule. <br /> <br />Benefitted Users <br /> <br />First 2,000 gallons @ 10.10 Min. <br />Next 4,000 gallons @ 2.00 Per 1,000 gal. <br />Next 4,000 gallons @ 1.50 Per 1,000 gal. <br />Next 5,000 gallons @ 1.25 Per 1,000 gal. <br />All Over 15,000 gallons @ 1.00 Per 1,000 gal. <br /> <br />Non-Benefitted Users <br /> <br />First 2,000 gallons @ 11.20 Min. <br />Next 4,000 gallons @ 2.50 Per 1,000 gal. <br />Next 4,000 gallons @ 2.00 Per 1,000 gal. <br />Next 5,000 gallons @ 1.50 Per 1,000 gal <br />All Over 15,000 gallons @ 1.00 Per 1,000 gal. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Barnhardt, seconded by Commissioner <br />Milloway and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the "Association <br />Water or Sewer System Grant Agreement" between Cabarrus County and <br />Farmers Home Administration. <br /> The Grant Agreement is as follows. <br /> <br />Form FmHA 1942-31 <br />(1-29-79) <br /> <br /> UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE <br /> FARMERS HOME ADMINISTRATION <br /> ASSOCIATION WATER OR SEWER SYSTEM GRANT AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT dated October 3, 1983, between THE COUNTY OF CABARRUS, <br />a public corporation organized and operating under N.C. General Statutes <br />herein called "Grantee," and the United States of America acting through <br />the Farmers Home Administration, Department of Agriculture, herein called <br />"Grantor," WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />Grantee has determined to undertake a project of acquisition, construction, <br />enlargement, or capital improvement of a (water) (sewer) system to serve <br />the area under its jurisdiction at an estimated cost of $11,060,000.00 and <br />has duly authorized the undertaking of such project. <br /> <br />Grantee is able to finance not more than $9,634,000.00 of the development <br />costs through revenues, charges, taxes or assessments, or funds otherwise <br />available to Grantee resulting in a reasonable user charge. <br /> <br /> <br />
