431 <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Milloway, seconded by Commissioner Lentz <br />and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following resolution. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Cabarrus County proposes to build an animal shelter <br />at the Cabarrus County Landfill; and whereas, under the Cabarrus <br />County Zoning Ordinance it is necessary that a conditional-use <br />permit be issued by the Zoning Board of Adjustment to permit said <br />construction and that an emergency exists and said construction <br />should proceed forthwith. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners <br />hereby requests the Zoning Board of Adjustment to call a special <br />meeting to act on the request of Cabarrus County for the conditional- <br />use to permit the construction of an animal shelter at the site of <br />the Cabarrus County Landfill. <br /> <br /> There being no additional business to come before the Board, the <br />meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
