Isenhour <br />Laura Childress <br />Charles E. Irving <br /> <br /> The Board reviewed the letter of resignation of Mr. Ed Godsey to <br />the Cabarrus County Planning Board. Commissioner Barnhardt nominated <br />Mr. Manuel Kiser; Commissioner Nash nominated Mr. George L. Kiser, Jr.; <br />and. Commissioner Payne nominated Mr. David McCord to fill the vacancy <br />on the Planning Board. Voting was as follows. <br /> <br />Voting for David McCord - Commissioner Payne and Chairman Lentz <br />Voting for George L. Kiser, Jr. - Commissioner Nash <br />Voting for Manuel Kiser - Commissioners Milloway and Barnhardt <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Nash, seconded by Commissioner Payne and <br />with Commissione~Payne and Nash and Chairman Lentz voting for and <br />Commissioners Milloway and Barnhardt voting against, the Board deferred <br />the appointment to fill the vacancy on the Planning Board until the next <br />meeting. <br /> The motion made by Commissioner Milloway and seconded by Commissioner <br />Barnhardt to reconsider the matter of tabling the appointment to the <br />Planning Board and to go ahead and vote for the nominees failed with <br />Commissioners Milloway and Barnhardt voting for and Commissioners Payne <br />and Nash and Chairman Lentz voting against. <br /> <br /> <br />
