This resolution shall take effect upon its passage. <br /> <br /> Thereupon, upon motion of Commissioner Milloway, seconded by Commissioner <br />Barnhardt, the foregoing resolution entitled: "RESOLUTION CALLING A SPECIAL <br />BOND REFERENDUm' was passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br /> <br />Commissioners Milloway, Barnhardt, Nash, and Payne and <br />Lentz <br />None <br /> <br /> Chairman Lentz stated that this was the day and hour scheduled for <br />a public hearing to consider the road name change of Garmon Mill Road <br />to Hopewell Church Road and asked if anyone were present to speak for <br />or against this road name change. No one was present to speak regarding <br />the road name change. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Barnhardt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the road name change from <br />Garmon Mill Road to Hopewell Church Road (SR 1113). <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Milloway, seconded by Commissioner Barnhardt <br />and unanimously carried, the minutes of January 3 and January 5, 1984, were <br />approved as written. <br /> UPON MOTION OF Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Barnhardt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board set a public hearing for 10:00 A.M. <br />on February 6, 1984, for the naming of an unnamed road as Dellinger Drive. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Milloway, seconded by Commissioner Nash <br />and unanimously carried, the Board reappointed the following persons to <br />the Zoning Board of Adjustment for a three-year term ending February 1, 1987. <br /> <br />Mrs. Harriet Ward <br />Mr. C. Allen Hough <br />Mr. William McCrary (Alternate) <br /> <br /> Chairman Lentz stated that this was the day and hour scheduled for <br />a public hearing regarding the closing of a segment of Barcliff Road and <br />asked if anyone were present who wished to speak for or against the closing <br />of that section of the road. No one appeared in opposition to the proposed <br />closing of the segment of Barcliff Road. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Barnhardt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following Order. <br /> <br />NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br />ORDER <br /> <br /> The Board of County Commissioners for Cabarrus County, North Carolina, <br />at its regular meeting held in the Commissioners' Room in the Cabarrus <br />County Courthouse on January 16, 1984, at 8:00 o'clock p.m., does make <br />the following findings of fact: <br /> <br /> 1. That a petition has been duly filed with the Board of Commissioners <br />for Cabarrus County requesting that following described segment of Barcliff <br />Road be closed: <br /> <br />BEGINNING at the corner of Lots No. 26 and 28 on the E. side <br />of said road and running in a northerly direction R=120.00 <br /> <br /> <br />
