The Board of Commissioners had adopted a resolution in support of
the concept of this passenger train service on September 19, 1983.
Commissioner Barnhardt reported he had attended a meeting of the
Board of Light and Water Commissioners on February 13, 1984, at which
time an engineering study of the Coddle Creek water impoundment project
had been presented.
