289 <br /> <br /> Chairman Lentz recessed the meeting at 8:10 P.M. until the conclusion <br />of the meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the Water and Sewer District <br />of Cabarrus County. <br /> The meeting reconvened at 9:45 P.M. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Barnhardt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into Executive Session to <br />consider the acquisition of land. <br /> UPON MOTIONof Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Barnhardt <br />and unanimously carried, the Executive Session was terminated. <br /> Chairman Lentz stated the Board had discussed land acquisition during <br />the Executive Session. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Commissioner Payne with <br />Commissioners Hamby, Payne, and Barnhardt voting for, Chairman Lentz voting <br />against, and Commissioner Upright abstaining, the Board authorized the <br />County Attorney to proceed with the matter of purchase option for property. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting <br />adjourned at 9:56 P.M. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
