343 <br /> <br />CONTRACT TO PROVIDE TAX DISTRICT FIRE SERVICE <br /> <br />NORTH CAROLINA <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br />This contract, made and entered into this day of , <br />19__, by and between the Fire Department Inc., <br />a nonprofit corporation, and the County of Cabarrus; <br /> W I T N E S S E T H: <br /> <br />That for and in consideration of the mutual covenants hereinafter <br />contained, and pursuant to authority granted by G.S. 69-25.5, G.S. 69-25.6, <br />and G.S. 153A-233, the Fire Department Inc. and the <br />County of Cabarrus do hereby covenant and agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. The County of Cabarrus agrees to annually levy and collect upon <br />all taxable property lying within the boundaries of the <br />Rural Fire Protection Tax District an ad valorem property tax equal to <br /> cents per one hundred dollars ($100.00) valuation, and to pay~the <br />same to the Fire Department Inc. <br /> <br /> An additional supplement in the sum of $ per month shall be <br />payable as specified in the Cabarrus County Fire Protection Resolution. <br /> <br /> 2. The Fire Department Inc. agrees to furnish <br />and provide continuing fire protection service to all property lying <br />within the boundaries of the Rural Fire Protection <br />Tax District by dispatching upon call any or all of its equipment and <br />adequate personnel to operate sama. <br /> <br /> 3. The Tax Collector of the County of Cabarrus shall collect the <br />ad valorem taxes so levied and shall make payment of the same to the <br /> Fire Department Inc. monthly as collections are made. <br /> <br /> 4. The Fire DePartment Inc. agrees to operate <br />within the guidelines set forth in the Cabarrus County Fire Protection <br />Resolution, attached to this contract. <br /> <br /> 5.
