430 <br /> <br /> Ms. Nettie Haney, resident of the Fishertown Community, asked what <br />steps the community could take to get help for the exising sewer problem. <br />Mr. Owens advised the Board of the possibility that the County could take <br />15 percent of the Community Development Block Grant funds applied for and <br />put in some sewer in the Fishertown Community if the application is approved <br />by the State. Chairman Lentz advised Ms. Haney to contact Mr. Owens for <br />further information regarding assistance for that community. <br /> Ms. Maybelle Allen of 123 Kennedy Avenue in Kannapolis complained of <br />tires that had been dumped into the branch located behind her home by Mr. <br />Willie Davis. The Board advised Ms. Allen that the Health Department would <br />investigate this matter. <br /> Commissioner Upright expressed concern regarding the operation of the <br />Animal Shelter and stated the need for the three trucks to be in operation <br />at all times. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting <br />adjourned at 8:40 P.M. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
