A report, <br />generated by the NCSU accounting system and including receipt and <br />expenditure transactions and the current status of the account, will <br />be provided quarterly to the County by NCSU. <br />Employee Benefits - Jointly employed County/NCSU employees covered by <br />the Cabarrus County payroll program will be solely under the NC State <br />retirement system and will be eligible for appropriate NCSU employee <br />benefits, including the direct deposit of payroll checks. It is further understood that: <br /> <br />Cabarrus County will pay 47.69% of the salaries of County Extension <br />Agents and the County Extension Chairman and 57.98% of the salaries <br />of two Extension secretaries and the full salary of one Extension <br />secretary (the secretary's position currently filled by Mrs. Christine <br />Barrier will be managed according to the county's pay plan). <br />The North Carolina Agricultural Extension Service will pay 52.31% of <br />the salaries of County Extension Agents and the County Extension <br />Chairman and 42.02% of the salaries of two Extension secretaries. <br />The North Carolina Agricultural Extension Service will provide super- <br />vision, review and evaluation of Extension personnel paid in part or <br />entirely by NCAES according to the Extension Management System for <br />Personnel Development and its undergirding policies and procedures. <br />Salary increases will be based upon the findings of this process and <br />the mandates of state government or university policy. <br />The North Carolina Agricultural Extension Service will provide super- <br />vision, review and evaluation of County Extension secretaries paid <br />entirely by Cabarrus County through the County Extension Chairman. <br />The County's Personnel Management Plan and its undergirding policies <br />and procedures will be followed and salary increases will be recom- <br />mended based upon the findings of this process. <br /> <br />This agreement amends the Memorandum of Understanding between the North <br />Carolina Agricultural Extension Service, A & T State University and the <br />Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners and shall become effective July 1, <br />1986. <br /> /s/ James W.
