Extension of Service Into Developed <br />Areas and Item 5 of Section III I. Water for Sale to Other Public Utilities <br />as follows. <br /> <br />MASTER METER <br /> <br />First 25,000 Gallons - <br />Ail Over 25,000 Gallons - <br /> <br />$40.35 <br />$1.00 per 1,000 Gallons <br /> <br />MINIMUM USAGE <br /> <br />METER SIZE <br /> <br />ALLOWED GALLONS <br /> <br />MINIMUM CHARGE <br /> <br />2" 25,000 40.35 <br />4" 100,000 121.70 <br />6" 200,000 221.70 <br />8" 300,000 321.70 <br /> <br />Amend the last sentence of the last paragraph of Section III A. Extension of <br />Service Into Developed Areas to read: <br />"Billing for such services will be at the standard rate for master meters." <br /> <br />Amend Item 5 of Section III I. Water for Sale to Other Public Utilities to <br />read: <br />"The utility desiring service must agree to pay for all water based on the <br />standard rate for master meters." <br /> <br /> Chairman Lentz recessed the meeting at 9:00 P.M. until the conclusion <br />of the meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the Water and Sewer <br />District of Cabarrus County. <br /> Chairman Lentz reconvened the meeting at 9:15 P.M. <br /> Mr. Charles D. McGinnis, County Manager, presented to the Board the <br />lawsuit filed by Lee Roy Shue and wife, Maie P. Shue, against Cabarrus <br />County and the Cabarrus County Zoning Board of Adjustment. <br /> Chairman Lentz reported that the Coalition of Counties meeting would be <br />held in Union County on Wednesday, January 21, 1987, at 3:30 P.M. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Melvin and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into Executive Session to discuss <br />legal matters with the County Attorney. <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Payne and <br />unanimously carried, the Executive Session was terminated. <br /> Chairman Lentz reported the Board had discussed a pending lawsuit <br />concerning the Kannapolis Police Department with the County Attorney. <br /> Chairman Lentz stated that City/County Liaison Meeting scheduled for <br />January 21 had been changed to January 28, 1987, at 6:30 P.M. at Lake Lynn <br />Lodge. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting <br />adjourned at 9:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
