H. Smith, for a charge of $1.00 in accordance with G.S. 20-187.2. <br /> Mr. Charles D. McGinnis, County Manager, presented a draft of the water <br />bond referendum fact sheet which had been prepared by Mr. James F. Owens, <br />County Planning Director; Mr. Walter C. Odell, Jr., County Engineer; Mr. Jeff <br />Young, City of Concord Planning Director; and Mr. Steve Slough, Director of <br />Utilities for the City of Concord. He asked for direction from the Board <br />regarding the printing and distribution of this fact sheet. The Board <br />indicated that 25,000 fact sheets should be printed and distributed in the <br />schools and at other locations throughout the county. Chairman Lentz asked <br />Commissioner Hamby to look over the proposed fact sheet and to make recommen- <br />dations to County staff regarding this matter. <br /> Chairman Lentz recessed the meeting at 10:40 A.M. until the conclusion of <br />the meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the Water and Sewer District of <br />Cabarrus County. <br /> Chairman Lentz reconvened the meeting at 10:45 A.M. <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Payne and unani- <br />mously carried, the Board moved to go into Executive Session to consider the <br />possibility of land acquisition and personnel matters. <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Payne and unani- <br />mously carried, the Executive Session was terminated. <br /> <br /> <br />
