234 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board desires to notify the public regarding said public <br />hearing on the issue of closing the Unopened Roads. <br /> <br />BE IT, THEREFORE, RESOLVED that: <br /> <br /> 1. A meeting and public hearing on the closing of the Unopened Roads <br />shall be held before the Board at 7:00 p.m. on the 18th day of January, 1988, <br />or as soon thereafter as persons may be heard. <br /> <br /> 2. This resolution declaring the Board's intent to close easements <br />dedicated for public roads shall be published in The Concord Tribune on <br />Monday, December 21 and 28, 1987, and January 4 and 11, 1988, and shall be <br />prominently posted in at least two places along each of said Unopened Roads. <br /> <br /> 3. Zawiskie, architect with <br />Kimball Associates, P.A., reviewed the bids for the Jail renovation and <br />addition as well as the results of Mr. Zawiskie's efforts to negotiate a <br />plumbing contract and to get all bidders to cut their bids by 7 percent.
