329 <br /> <br /> Chairman Lentz announced that the District meeting for the North Carolina <br />Association of County Commissioners would be held in Salisbury on April 21, <br />1988. Board members indicated that they would be unable to attend due to a <br />previous engagement. <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Melvin and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into Executive Session to discuss a <br />contractual agreement with the County Attorney and to discuss a personnel <br />matter. The Board invited Mr. Blair Bennett, Finance Director, and Mr. Paul <br />Watson, Engineer with HDR Infrastructure, Inc., to join the Board in the <br />Executive Session. <br /> Commissioner Moss returned and was present for the Executive Session and <br />the remainder of the meeting. <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Hamby and unani- <br />mously carried, the Executive Session was terminated. <br /> Chairman Lentz reported that the Board had been in Executive Session <br />discussing personnel matters and a contractual agreement. <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Melvin and <br />unanimously carried, the Board authorized Mr. Blair D. Bennett, Finance <br />Director, to spend money for the advertising of the vacancy of County Manager <br />with the following data: <br /> <br />Name of County: Cabarrus <br />Population: 94,000 <br />Number of Employees: 420 <br />Annual Budget: $42,000,000 <br />Date Manager Form of Government Established: July 1, 1975 <br />Number of Managers Since Adoption: 2 <br />Education & Experience: Master's in Public Administration and 5 <br /> years experience <br />Preferred or Required: Preferred <br />Approximate Salary Range: $50,000 to $60,000 <br />Name & Address to Whom Applications Be Sent: James W.
