No <br />action was taken in this matter and the Register of Deeds Office remained <br />scheduled for location in the new facility. <br /> Mr. William F. Pilkington, Health Director, reported that only one bid <br />had been received for the development of an eight-minute video tape, three <br />public service announcements, and three radio public service announcements <br />for promotion of the WIC Program. He recommended that the bid be awarded to <br />the one bidder, Barnhardt, Campbell, and Walker, Inc., in the amount <br />$21,705.86 plus North Carolina sales tax. Mr. Pilkington stated that this <br />was the second time that the contract had been bid and noted that the total <br />cost of this bid will be paid by the North Carolina WIC Program. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Chairman Lentz and <br />unanimously carried, the Board awarded the bid for video and public service <br />announcements to Barnhardt, Campbell, and Walker, Inc., in the amount of <br />$21,705.86 plus North Carolina sales tax. <br /> <br /> <br />
