<br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Moss and unani-
<br />mously carried, the Board awarded the contract for the re-creation of 150
<br />deeds of trust books for the Register of Deeds Office to the low bidder,
<br />Business Records Corporation, in the amount of $35,850.00.
<br /> Mr. Tarry Gautney, Cabarrus County Sanitary Landfill Supervisor,
<br />reported that a bid was received on September 14, 1988, for one hydroseeder
<br />in the amount of $21,782.25 for the Sanitary Landfill.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Melvin and
<br />unanimously carried, the Board awarded the contract for the purchase of a
<br />hydroseeder for the Sanitary Landfill to J. W. Burress, Inc., in the amount
<br />of $21,782.25 F.O.B. Job Site.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Melvin, seconded by Commissioner Hamby and
<br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the following contract between the
<br />County and Christopher Properties, Inc., for the installation of sewer
<br />service in the Stallings Glen Subdivision, Phase I.

<br /> THIS CONTRACT, made and entered into this the 16th day of September,
<br />1988, between Christopher Properties~ Inc., whose address is 2700 Stallings -
<br />Rd. Harrisburg, N.C. 28075~ Cabarrus County, a municipal corporation of said
<br />County and State, hereinafter referred to as the "County":

<br />WITNESSETH
<br />
<br /> THAT WHEREAS, the Applicant desires to construct sanitary sewer lines to
<br />serve certain properties located in Cabarrus County, and such sanitary sewer
<br />lines to be constructed at the Applicant's own proper cost and expense; and,
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the Applicant has requested permission from the County to
<br />connect these certain sanitary sewer lines to the County's sanitary sewerage
<br />system, said sanitary sewer lines and location of connection to the County's
<br />system being more particularly described as follows:

<br />SANITARY SEWERS TO SERVE STALLINGS GLEN, PHASE I
<br />
<br />Sewer lines to serve Stallings Glen, Phase I and being the sewer lines
<br />located within Phase I boundaries as shown of Sheet I of 14 of the
<br />Sanitary Sewer plans designed by William Joseph Vanderlip, dated June
<br />27, 1988. This includes the line from the existing 12" outfall to
<br />manhole no. 2 on Quail Hollow Drive, along Quail Hollow Drive thru MH's
<br />3 & 18 to M.H. 19. This also includes the line in the easement between
<br />Stallings Rd. and Jon Cris Drive from M.H. 3 thru M.H.'s 4,5,6,7,8 and
<br />ending at M.H. 9.

<br />From M.H. 5 in the easement the line goes to M.H. 10 in Jon Cris Dr. and
<br />thence up Jon Cris Dr. thru M.H.'s 11, 12, 13, 14 to M.H. 15 in Deer
<br />Drive and north along Deer Drive to M.H.'s 16 & 17. Also included is
<br />the line from M.H. 10 to M.H. 52 in Ferrell Place.

<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises contained herein, the
<br />parties hereby agree as follows:
