Richard Russell, Data Processing Manager, recommended that <br />computer cable be installed under Church Street to provide a direct <br />connection between the computer and the terminals in the Sheriff's <br />Department. <br /> Commissioner Hamby returned at 4:40 P.M. and was present for the <br />remainder of the meeting. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Melvin, seconded by Chairman Lentz and <br />unanimously carried, the Board authorized the architect for the <br />Governmental Center to solicit proposals for the following items. <br /> <br />1) <br />2) <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />4) <br />5) <br />6) <br /> <br />Provide drive-through tax collection and night deposit station. <br />Replace Home Health Care and County Engineer areas with Board of <br />Elections and Veterans Services. <br />Provide for the inclusion of Land Records into the County <br />Assessor's Department. <br />Authorize specific departmental functional revisions. <br />Provide equipment for after hours security. <br />Provide a cable link to the Courthouse in the most cost effective <br />manner. <br /> <br /> <br />
