Canaday reviewed the proposed'modifications to the <br />closed circuit television (C.C.T.V.) monitoring system for the Cabarrus County <br />Jail at total cost of $18,513.00. According to Sheriff Canaday, these <br />modifications will expand the current system and will provide the capacity for <br />ten additional monitoring cameras in the new administration building at a future <br />date. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Commissioner Melvin and <br />unanimously carried, the Board authorized the modifications to the Cabarrus <br />County Jail C.C.T.V. monitoring system in the amount of $18,513.00 as outlined <br />in the letter dated January 24, 1989 from Mr. James F. Tharp, Vice President of <br />Stewart Decatur Security Systems, Inc. Water transmission <br />lines and sewer outfall lines passing through the annexed area shall <br />be retained by the County. <br /> <br /> The City and County shall negotiate a purchase price for the <br />lines based on original cost. In the event the parties cannot agree <br />on the purchase price, a fair price shall be established by an <br />arbitration committee consisting of three (3) persons: one selected <br /> <br /> <br />
