Therefore, these patients must obtain their DME <br /> equipment through a home health agency providing home health care. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br /> Ms. Nancy Randall, Vice'Chairman of the Cabarrus County Planning Board, <br />presented the proposed Zoning Text amendment. <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />Petition 89-04. Staff Request (by request of the County Commissioners), <br />Section 3.2-4, "Schedule of Use Regulations". <br /> <br />Staff recommended the following seven items that might be removed as <br />permitted uses in the ARR Zone. <br /> <br />1) <br />2) <br />3) <br />4) <br />5) <br />6) <br />7) <br /> <br />Extraction of Earth Products <br />Machine Welding Shops <br />Wooden Products Manufacturing <br />Contractor Storage Yards <br />Cotton Gins and Cotton Waste <br />Meat Packing and Poultry Processing <br />Saw Mills and Planing Mills <br /> <br />These deletions would not apply to bona fide farms. <br /> <br />The Planning Board voted on a motion to only recommend the removal of three <br />items: 1) extraction of earth products, 2) cotton gins and cotton waste, <br />and 3) meat packing and poultry processing. The vote was 2 for and 2 <br />against. <br /> <br /> Chairman Lentz opened the public hearing for Petition 89-04 and announced <br />that the hearing would include consideration of the seven items listed for <br />possible removal from the ARR zone. <br /> Mr. Ralph Bonds, speaking on behalf of the Local Affairs Committee of the <br />Cabarrus County Farm Bureau, objected to Petition 89-04 and asked that the seven <br />items remain in the ARR zone. <br /> <br /> <br />
