If reappointed, an exception to the "length <br />of service" provision of the Appointment Policy will be needed for each of <br />them. <br />The Authority meets on an as needed basis and the County Attorney <br />serves as the contact for this Authority. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Mynatt, seconded by Commissioner Shue and <br />unanimously carried, the Board reappointed Robert Pierce, Jr., Sherrill Laney <br />and Sanjay Mistry to the Industrial Facilities and Pollution Control <br />Financing Authority for six -year terms ending January 10, 2022; including an <br />exception to the "length of service" provision of the Appointment Policy for <br />Mr. Pierce, Mr. Laney and Mr. Mistry. <br />(I) REPORTS <br />(I--1) Cabarrus County Tourism Authority - PY15 Year End Financial Report <br />The Board received the Cabarrus County Tourism Authority - FY15 Year <br />End Financial Report for informational purposes as part of the Agenda. No <br />action was required of the Board. <br />(I -2) County Manager - Monthly Reports on Building Activity <br />The Board received the Cabarrus County Construction Standards Dodge <br />Report for December 2015 and the Cabarrus County Commercial Building Plan <br />Review Summary for December 2015 for informational purposes as part of the <br />Agenda. No action was required of the Board. <br />(I -3) EDC - December 2015 Monthly Summary Report <br />The Board received the Cabarrus Economic Development Corporation (EDC) <br />monthly report for the month of December as part of the Agenda. No action <br />was required of the Board. <br />(I -4) Finance - Monthly Financial Update <br />The Board received the monthly financial update for informational <br />purposes.
