<br />County Youth Commission as a Concord High School representative for a two -
<br />year term expiring June 30, 2017.
<br />(H -3) Appointments - Firemen's Relief Fund Trustees
<br />The Cabarrus County Volunteer Fire Departments submit the following for
<br />appointment as a Firemen's Relief Fund Trustees *:
<br />* These appointments are exempt from the County Appointment Policy.
<br />Recommendations are submitted by each of the respective volunteer fire
<br />departments.
<br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Mynatt, seconded by Commissioner Shue and
<br />unanimously carried, the Board reappointed Kelly Whitley, (Georgeville); Lee
<br />Connor, (,Harrisburg); Joe Eudy, (Midland); Bobby Kanipe, (Mt. Mitchell); Del
<br />Eudy, (Mt. Pleasant); Earlene Cox, (Rimer); and appointed Jerry Helms,
<br />(Allen); David R. Blackwelder, (Cold Water); Joey Houston, ( Flowes Store);
<br />Dylna Daquila, (North East); and Danny Brown, (Odell); to serve as Firemen's
<br />Relief Fund Trustees for two -year terms ending January 31, 2018. By the same
<br />motion the Board appointed Mike Faggart, (Allen); Raymond N. Blackwelder,
<br />Jr., (Cold Water); Artie Craig, ( Flowes Store); Betty White, (Mt. Mitchell);
<br />and Jacob Williams, (Odell) to serve as Firemen's Relief Fund Trustees for
<br />one -year terms ending January 31, 2017; and appointed Ashleigh Ennis,
<br />(Rimer), to fill the unexpired term of William Simmons ending January 31,
<br />2017.
<br />(H -4) Appointments and Removals - Human Services Advisory Board
<br />Eric Williamson's term of appointment on the Human Services Advisory
<br />Board expired December 31, 2015. Mr. Williamson has expressed he can no
<br />longer serve due to other obligations. It is requested to remove him from
<br />the roster.
<br />Anne Laukaitis' term on the Human Services Advisory Board also expired
<br />on December 31, 2015. She is willing to serve another term.
<br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Mynatt, seconded by Vice Chairman Honeycutt
<br />and unanimously carried, the Board removed Eric Williamson from the Human
<br />Services Advisory Board roster and thanked him for him service.
<br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Poole, seconded by Commissioner Shue and
<br />unanimously carried, the Board reappointed Anne Laukaitis to the Human
<br />Services Advisory Board for a three -year term ending December 31, 2018.
<br />UPON MOTION of Chairman Morris, seconded by vice Chairman Honeycutt and
<br />unanimously carried, the Board postponed taking action on the open position
<br />for this Hoard until February 15, 2016.
<br />(H=-5) Appointments - Industrial Facilities and Pollution Control Financing
<br />Authority
<br />The terms of appointment for Robert Pierce, Jr., Sherrill Laney and
<br />Sanjay Mistry expire January 10, 2016. Mr. Pierce has served since 2004, Mr.
<br />Laney has served since 1996 and Mr. Mistry has served since 2002. All are
