' I'l I C + ` Feasibility Study <br />Alan Thompson, EMS Director, advised the storage facility would enable <br />his department to better maintain their equipment while keeping it easily <br />accessible. He advised this facility will meet the needs of EMS for many <br />years. <br />Chief Deputy Paul Hunt, Cabarrus County Sheriff's Department, advised <br />Mr. Bilafer and county management has been instrumental in finding a place to <br />house some of the larger vehicles and equipment for the Sheriff's Department. <br />A discussion ensued. During discussion, Chief Deputy Hunt, Mr. Bilafer <br />and Mr. Thompson responded to questions from the Board. Michael Miller, <br />Assistant Infrastructure and Asset Management Director was also in <br />attendance. <br />Discussion Items for Action at April 18, 2016 Meeting <br />Human Resources - Springsted Compensation. Study Overview and Recommendations <br />Note: This item was moved to May. <br />County Manager - Cardinal Innovations Modification to Sublease <br />Jonathan Marshall, Deputy County Manager, requested a modification to <br />the Cardinal Innovations sublease. He stated, Cardinal Innovations subleases <br />space at the Department of Human Services building for a treatment facility. <br />He advised they will be renovating a building for that purpose but it will <br />not be completed before the current sublease expires. He recommended that <br />the extension be limited to no more than one year, making the expiration date <br />no later than July 2017. <br />DHS - Review of Bids to Provide Bulk Catering Services to the LunchPlus Club <br />Program <br />Ben Rose, Department of Human Services (DHS) Director, reported two <br />bids were received through the formal bid process for a vendor to provide <br />bulk catering services for the LunchPlus Club program. He stated Kathy <br />Mowrer and her staff went through a thorough evaluation process, scored bids <br />and have a recommendation. <br />Kathy Mowrer, DHS, Adult and Aging Program Administrator, stated the <br />cost of the two bids was close. She reviewed the following bid tabulation <br />and comparison detail and recommended Punchy's Diner continue to provide <br />meals for the LunchPlus Club program_ <br />Congregate Nutrition (LunchPlus Club) Bid Tabulation <br />Cabarrus Meal on Wheels I Punchy's Diner <br />
