The Finance Director is hereby directed to maintain within the Capital <br />Projects Fund sufficient detailed accounting records to satisfy the <br />requirements of the law. <br />b. The Finance Officer is directed to report, at the request of the <br />Board, on the financial status of each project element in Section I <br />and on the total revenues received or claimed. <br />c. Copies of this capital project ordinance shall be furnished to the <br />Clerk to the Governing Board, and to the Finance Director for <br />direction in carrying out this project. <br />d. Morris, Chairman <br />ATTEST: <br />/s/ Megan Smit <br />Clerk to the Board <br />(H) APPOINTMENTS TO BOARDS AND COMMITTEES <br />H -11 Anpointments - Active Livina and Parks Commission <br />The "Northwest Cabarrus" area representative position on the Active Living <br />and Parks Commission is currently vacant. <br />An application to serve on the Active Living and Parks Commission has <br />been received from Megan Baumgardner to serve as a "Northwest Cabarrus" area <br />representative. Ms. Baumgardner also serves on the Juvenile Crime Prevention <br />Council (JCPC). An exception to the "service on multiple boards" provision of <br />the Appointment Policy will be needed for her. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Mynatt, seconded by Vice Chairman Honeycutt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board appointed Megan Baumgardner to the Active <br />Living and Parks Commission as the "Northwest Cabarrus" area representative for <br />a three -year term ending January 31, 2019; including an exception to the <br />"service on multiple boards" provision of the Appointment Policy. <br />(H -2) Appointments (Removals) Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee <br />The Regional Ombudsman requests the removal of Mr. Kim Hinson from the <br />Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee roster due to failure to complete <br />required facility visits and complete required quarterly training. <br />UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Shue and <br />unanimously carried, the Board removed Mr. Kim Hinson from the Nursing Home <br />Community Advisory Committee roster as requested by the Regional Ombudsman. <br />(I) REPORTS <br />(I -1) County Manager - Monthly New Development Report <br />The Board received the monthly new development report for informational <br />purposes. No action was required of the Board. <br />(I -2) County Manager - Monthly Reports on Building Activity <br />The Board received Cabarrus County Construction Standards Dodge Report <br />for April 2016 and the Cabarrus County Commercial Building Plan Review Summary <br />for April 2016 for informational purposes as part of the Agenda. No action was <br />required of the Board. <br />
