Judy 5, 2016 (Work Session) Page 2815 <br />Sheriff's Office - E -911 Equipment Upgrade Lease <br />Todd Shanley, ITS (Information Technology Services) Manager, presented a <br />request to enter into a lease agreement not -to- exceed 60 months for E -911 <br />equipment. He provided an overview of the past eight years of maintenance on <br />the E -911 system. He also advised upgrades to the Enhanced 911 equipment are <br />required to adequately maintain E -911 services and provide use of Next <br />Generation 911 services to county, city and regional E -911 operations. <br />BOC - Designation of Votina Delegate for NCACC 109tH Annual Conference <br />Chairman Morris stated a voting delegate is needed for the NCACC (North <br />Carolina Association of County Commissioners) Annual Conference to be held in <br />Forsyth County August 11 -14, 2016. <br />Vice Chairman Honeycutt recommended designating Chairman Morris as the <br />Caharrus County voting delegate. <br />Following a brief discussion, it was the consensus of the Board to <br />designate Chairman Morris as the voting delegate to represent Cabarrus County <br />at the NCACC 109t`' Annual Conference in Forsyth County in August. <br />Approval of Regular Meeting Agenda <br />The Board discussed the placement of items on the Agenda. <br />UPON MOTION of Commissioner Mynatt, seconded by Vice Chairman Honeycutt <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the July 18, 2016 Agenda as <br />follows. <br />Approval or Correction of Minutes <br />• Approval or Correction of Meeting Minutes <br />Consent <br />• ALP - FY17 Matching Incentive Grant Requests <br />• BOC - Designation of Voting Delegate for NCACC 109th Annual Conference <br />• DHS - FY17 Energy Programs Outreach Plan <br />• EMS - Request to Purchase Three Ambulance Units <br />• Finance - Lottery Funding Request for Two School Roof Projects and <br />Additional Renovation Funding <br />• Library - Updated Circulation Policy <br />• Sheriff's Office - E -911 Equipment Upgrade Lease <br />• Tax Administration - Refund and Release Report - June 2016 <br />• Tax Administration - Tax Collector's Annual Settlement and Order <br />Authorizing Collection of FY 2016 -2017 Taxes <br />Appointments to Boards and Committees <br />• Appointments - Library Board of Trustees <br />• Appointments - Region F Aging Advisory Committee <br />• Appointments - Cabarrus County Tourism Authority <br />Reports <br />• County Manager - Monthly New Development.
