During discussion, Ms. Morris responded to <br />questions from the Board. In the discussion, it was decided to table the text <br />amendment regarding bed and breakfast facilities to a later meeting. <br />Chairman Morris opened the public hearing at 7:06 p.m. The Public Hearing <br />Notice was posted on the County's website ( www.cabarrus county. us ) on October 4, <br />2016 in accordance with Article 2, Administration, Section 2.1 (Use of <br />Electronic Means to Provide Public Notices) of the Cabarrus County Code of <br />Ordinances. <br />There was no one present to address the Board; therefore, Chairman Morris <br />closed the public hearing. <br />Vice Chairman Honeycutt MOVED, to approve TEXT2016 -00001 through <br />TEXT2016- 00013 with the exception of TEXT2016- 00007, which shall be tabled until <br />a later date. Commissioner Shue seconded the motion. <br />Prior to the vote, Ms. Morris requested the motion clarify only tabling <br />the bed and breakfast portion of TEXT2016 -00007 so that Planning and Development <br />staff could move forward with the remainder of the text amendments. <br />Commissioner Mynatt amended the MOTION to approve the changes to TEXT2016- <br />00001 through TEXT2016 -00013 with the exception of the portion of Chapter 7 of <br />TEXT2016 -00007 regarding bed and breakfasts, which shall be tabled until a later <br />date. Vice Chairman Honeycutt seconded the amended motion and the MOTION <br />unanimously carried. <br />Jonathan Marshall, Deputy County Manager, requested a motion to address <br />the Code of Ordinance as presented (and discussed at the October 3, 2016 Work <br />Session). <br />
