During discussion, Mr. Marshall and Ms. Morris <br />responded to questions from the Board. <br />Vice Chairman Honeycutt MOVED to adopt the ordinance amending the Cabarrus <br />County Code of Ordinances, approving TEXT2016- 00001, which moves the Flood <br />Ordinance from the Cabarrus County Code of Ordinances to the Zoning Ordinance <br />and related updates; and approving TEXT2016- 00002, which combines the Zoning, <br />Subdivision, and Flood Ordinances and renames them the Cabarrus County <br />Development Ordinance. Commissioner Shue seconded the motion and the MOTION <br />unanimously carried. <br />Ordinance No. 2016 -43 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CABARRUS COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES AND THE CABARRUS <br />COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE <br />TEXT2016- 00001, TEXT2016 -00002 <br />BE IT ORDAINED that the Cabarrus County Code of Ordinances is hereby amended as <br />follows; <br />REMOVE Chapter 38, Floods and RENAME Chapter 38 as Reserved. <br />RENUMBER AND REVISE the Code of Ordinance Table of Contents to correspond to <br />the change. <br />BE IT ALSO ORDAINED that the Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance is hereby amended <br />as follows: <br />The following Chapters will be ADDED TO THE ORDINANCE <br />1. Chapter 16, Flood Damage Prevention (Model Ordinance 2015) <br />2. Chapter 15, Subdivision Ordinance (Separate County Ordinance) <br />BE IT ALSO ORDAINED that the Cabarrus County Zoning Ordinance is hereby amended <br />as follows: <br />1. These types of animals <br />are typically housed on a farm.
