<br /> (F-7) County Manager - RCCC Funding Request for Owner' s Cost, Design and
<br /> Contingencies
<br /> Rowan-Cabarrus Community College (RCCC) has requested $2,229, 439.00 in
<br /> funding for owner's cost, design fees and contingencies. These funds were set
<br /> aside by the Board in a previous fiscal year awaiting a final site to be selected
<br /> for the new Advanced Technology Center. The site has been selected and the
<br /> County is requested to transfer these funds over to a construction fund to track
<br /> the total project cost for the facility. A budget revision has been prepared
<br /> to make this transition.
<br /> UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Mynatt
<br /> and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the budget amendment and related
<br /> project ordinances.

<br /> Center. Capital Reserve Funding will be provided for the owner's direct costs $222,000, design
<br /> fees $1,358,396, and contingency $649,043. Of the $2,229,439 Capital Reserve funding, $1,580,396
<br /> will be placed in a new Fund entitled Limited Obligation Bonds 2018 where the future building will
<br /> be constructed with LOBS financing and $649,043 will remain in the Capital Reserve Fund for
<br /> contingency.

<br /> CABARRUS COUNTY CAPITAL RESERVE
<br /> CAPITAL PROJECT BUDGET ORDINANCE
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of Cabarrus County, North
<br /> Carolina that, Pursuant to Section 13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes
<br /> of North Carolina, the following capital project ordinance is hereby adopted:
<br /> Section I.
<br /> A. The project authorized is for the purpose of accumulating and
<br /> appropriating funds specifically for future County and School capital
<br /> projects.
<br /> B. The officers of this unit are hereby directed to proceed with this
<br /> capital project within the terms of the Generally Accepted Accounting
<br /> Principles (GAAP) and the budget contained herein.
<br /> C. It is estimated that the following revenues will be available to
