Blackwelder, Jr. , (Cold Water) ; Artie Craig, (Flowes Store) ; <br /> Nicole Beaver, (Georgeville) ; Tim Wooten, (Harrisburg) ; Darrell Page, <br /> (Midland) ; Betty White, (Mt. Mitchell) ; James Sells, (Mt. Pleasant Rural) ; <br /> Richard V. Bergeron, II, (North East) ; and Jacob Williams, (Odell) to the <br /> Firemen's Relief Fund Trustees for two-year terms ending January 31, 2019; and <br /> to appoint Marty Ritchie, (Rimer) to the Firemen's Relief Fund Trustees for a <br /> two-year term ending January 31, 2019. <br /> (H-2) Appointments - Home and Community Care Block Grant Committee <br /> Evelyn Miller submitted an application to serve on the Home and Community <br /> Block Grant Committee and is recommended for appointment by the Home and <br /> Community Care Block Grant Committee. <br /> UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Kiger <br /> and unanimously carried, the Board appointed Evelyn Miller to the Home and <br /> Community Care Block Grant Committee for a three-year term ending December 31, <br /> 2019. <br /> (H-3) Appointments and Removals - Human Services Advisory Board <br /> Kay Scott and Anna Cain have submitted their resignations, and due to <br /> other obligations, they are no longer able to serve on the Human Services <br /> Advisory Board. 1t is requested to remove Ms. Scott and Ms. Cain from the <br /> roster and to appoint individuals to fill their seats. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Shue, seconded by Commissioner Kiger and <br /> unanimously carried, the Board removed Kay Scott and Anna Cain from the Human <br /> Services Advisory Board roster and thanked them for their service. <br /> UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Shue and <br /> unanimously carried, the Board appointed Larry Bonds and William Nunes to serve <br /> on the Human Services Advisory board for three-year terms expiring December 31, <br /> 2019; including an exception to the serve on multiple boards provision of the <br /> Appointment Policy for Mr. Bonds. <br /> (H-4) Appointment (Removals) - Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) <br /> Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) member Benjamin Baucom, Juvenile <br /> Defense Attorney representative, resigned from his position on the Council. It <br /> is requested to remove his name from the roster. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Kiger, seconded by Commissioner Shue and <br /> unanimously carried, the Board removed Benjamin Baucom from the JCPC roster and <br /> thanked him for his service. <br /> (H-5) Appointments - Cabarrus County Senior Centers Advisory Council <br /> Current Cabarrus County Senior Centers Advisory Council members Thomas <br /> Dixon, Norvel Johnson, Pat Martin, Earnest Morrissey and Mary Watts have terms <br />
