Bergeron, II North East • Jacob Williams Odell • Marty Ritchie Rimer UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Shue and unanimously carried, the Board approved the reappointment of Mike Faggart, (Allen) ; Raymond N. Blackwelder, Jr. , (Cold Water) ; Artie Craig, (Flowes Store) ; Nicole Beaver, (Georgeville) ; Tim Wooten, (Harrisburg) ; Darrell Page, (Midland) ; Betty White, (Mt. Mitchell) ; James Sells, (Mt. Pleasant Rural) ; Richard V. Bergeron, II, (North East) ; and Jacob Williams, (Odell) to the Firemen's Relief Fund Trustees for two-year terms ending January 31, 2019; and to appoint Marty Ritchie, (Rimer) to the Firemen's Relief Fund Trustees for a two-year term ending January 31, 2019. (H-2) Appointments - Home and Community Care Block Grant Committee Evelyn Miller submitted an application to serve on the Home and Community Block Grant Committee and is recommended for appointment by the Home and Community Care Block Grant Committee. UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Kiger and unanimously carried, the Board appointed Evelyn Miller to the Home and Community Care Block Grant Committee for a three-year term ending December 31, 2019. (H-3) Appointments and Removals - Human Services Advisory Board Kay Scott and Anna Cain have submitted their resignations, and due to other obligations, they are no longer able to serve on the Human Services Advisory Board. 1t is requested to remove Ms. Scott and Ms. Cain from the roster and to appoint individuals to fill their seats. UPON MOTION of Commissioner Shue, seconded by Commissioner Kiger and unanimously carried, the Board removed Kay Scott and Anna Cain from the Human Services Advisory Board roster and thanked them for their service. UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Shue and unanimously carried, the Board appointed Larry Bonds and William Nunes to serve on the Human Services Advisory board for three-year terms expiring December 31, 2019; including an exception to the serve on multiple boards provision of the Appointment Policy for Mr. Bonds. (H-4) Appointment (Removals) - Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) member Benjamin Baucom, Juvenile Defense Attorney representative, resigned from his position on the Council. It is requested to remove his name from the roster. UPON MOTION of Commissioner Kiger, seconded by Commissioner Shue and unanimously carried, the Board removed Benjamin Baucom from the JCPC roster and thanked him for his service. (H-5) Appointments - Cabarrus County Senior Centers Advisory Council Current Cabarrus County Senior Centers Advisory Council members Thomas Dixon, Norvel Johnson, Pat Martin, Earnest Morrissey and Mary Watts have terms
