Vincent Vezza, resident of 8835 Erbach Lane in Mount Pleasant and Democratic Precinct Chair, spoke in regards to the work done by Mount Pleasant officials to develop a Mount Pleasant Comprehensive Plan. He expressed an interest to work with the County on the town's concerns and needs. Seeing no one else to address the Board, Chairman Morris closed that portion of the meeting. (E) OLD BUSINESS None. (F) CONSENT (F-1) County Manager - Cooperative Extension ADA Bathrooms and Furniture for County Departments Budget Revision Several smaller projects are proposed for completion from excess revenue collections within the current fiscal year. The Cooperative Extension bathrooms are in need of ADA modifications due to age and upgrades to the building. As the County continues to grow and staff is relocated, departments are in need of furniture replacement and furniture for the new locations. Two departments have furniture that is aged in excess of 20 plus years and is no longer safe for use. UPON MOTION of Vice Chairman Honeycutt, seconded by Commissioner Kiger and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the budget amendment and related project ordinance. A. The project authorized is the various County construction and renovation related projects. Details of the projects are listed in section C. of this Project Ordinance. B. The officers of this unit are hereby directed to proceed with this capital project within the terms of the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the budget contained herein. C. It is estimated that the following revenues will be available to complete capital projects as listed.
