The Finance Director is hereby directed to maintain within the <br /> Capital Project Fund sufficient detailed accounting records to <br /> satisfy the requirements of the law. <br /> b. The Finance Director is directed to report, at the request of <br /> the Board, on the financial status of each project element in <br /> Section I and on the total revenues received or claimed. <br /> c. Copies of this capital project ordinance shall be furnished to <br /> the Clerk to the governing Board, and to the Finance Director <br /> for direction in carrying out this project. <br /> d. He stated <br /> Commissioner Shue attended last week' s meeting and has indicated he is willing <br /> to serve in that capacity. <br /> A brief discussion ensued. <br /> UPON MOTION by Chairman Morris, seconded by Vice Chairman Honeycutt <br /> unanimously carried, the Board appointed Commissioner Lynn Shue as the County' s <br /> representative to the Centralina Council of Governments Executive Committee. <br /> (H) APPOINTMENTS TO BOARDS AND COMMITTEES <br /> (H-1) Appointments - Centralina Workforce Development Board <br /> An application to serve on the Centralina Workforce Development <br /> Board (CWDB) has been received from Fernando Little. A letter regarding the <br /> CWDB's recommendation for Mr. Little's appointment as well as a change in the <br /> "Organized Labor" position to a "Private Sector" positon is attached. Mr. Little <br /> resides in Mecklenburg County. An exception to the "residency" provision of the <br /> Appointment Policy will be needed for him. <br /> UPON MOTION by Chairman Morris, seconded by Commissioner Shue, and <br /> unanimously carried, the Board appointed Fernando Little to the Centralina <br /> Workforce Development Board as a "Private Sector" representative for a two-year <br /> term ending June 30, 2019; including an exception to the "residency" provision <br /> of the Appointment Policy. <br /> (H-2) Appointments - Mental Health Advisory Board <br /> An appointment is needed to fill the vacant "Mayor/City Council Midland" <br /> position on the Mental Health Advisory Board. <br /> UPON MOTION by Chairman Morris, seconded by Commissioner Shue and <br /> unanimously carried, the Board appointed John Crump to the Mental Health <br />
