She is willing to serve another term. <br /> UPON MOTION by Chairman Morris, seconded by Commissioner Kiger and <br /> unanimously carried, the Board reappointed Sandi Lane to the Nursing Home <br /> Community Advisory Committee for a three-year term ending September 30, 2020. <br /> (H-4) Appointments - Region F Aging Advisory Committee <br /> The terms for Region F Aging Advisory Committee members Jean Chandler and <br /> Nancy Woodard expired June 30, 2017. <br /> Ted Drain has resigned from his position as alternate on the Committee. He <br /> has served on this Committee since 2007. An application to fill that position <br /> has been received from Ida Mills. <br /> The Home and Community Care Block Grant Committee recommends reappointing <br /> Ms. Chandler and Ms. Woodard, and appointing Ms. Mills to the Region F Aging <br /> Advisory Committee. A letter of recommendation in that regard has been received. <br /> UPON MOTION by Chairman Morris, seconded by Vice Chairman Honeycutt and <br /> unanimously carried, the Board removed Ted Drain from the Region F Aging <br /> Advisory Committee roster and thanked him for his many years of service. <br /> UPON MOTION by Chairman Morris, seconded by Commissioner Kiger and <br /> unanimously carried, the Board appointed Ida Mills to the Region F Aging <br /> Advisory Committee as an alternate representative to complete an unexpired <br /> term ending June 30, 2018. <br /> UPON MOTION by Chairman Morris, seconded by Vice Chairman Honeycutt and <br /> unanimously carried, the Board reappointed Jean Chandler and Nancy Woodard to <br /> the Region F Aging Advisory Committee for two-year terms ending June 30, 2019. <br /> Commissioner Poole requested the Regional Ombudsman to review current <br /> applications on file in an effort to fill vacant positions on the Nursing Home <br /> Community Advisory Committee. <br /> (I) REPORTS <br /> (I-1) Cardinal Innovations Healthcare Solutions - 3rd Quarter FY 2017 Dashboard <br /> Report for Mental Health, Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities and Substance <br /> Abuse Services <br /> The Board received the Cardinal Innovations Healthcare Solutions' 3rd <br /> Quarter FY17 Dashboard Report for Mental Health, Intellectual/Developmental <br /> Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services as part of the Agenda. No action was <br /> required of the Board <br /> (I-2) County Manager - Monthly Reports on Building Activity <br /> The Board received the Cabarrus County Construction Standards Dodge Report <br /> for August 2017 and the Cabarrus County Commercial Building Plan Review Summary <br /> for August 2017 for informational purposes as part of the Agenda. No action <br /> was required of the Board. <br /> (I-3) County Manager - Monthly New Development Report <br /> The Board of Commissioners requested monthly reports of new development <br /> activity including the information of plans under review. The report is for <br /> informational purposes. No action was required of the Board. <br /> (I-4) EDC - August 2017 Monthly Summary Report <br /> The Board received the Cabarrus Economic Development Corporation (EDC) <br /> monthly report for the month of August as part of the Agenda. No action was <br /> required of the Board. <br /> (I-5) Finance - Monthly Financial Update <br /> The Board received the monthly financial update for informational <br /> purposes.
