General Statute 153A -11 permits the County to acquire <br />real property and hold associated rights to it; and <br />WHEREAS, the County has negotiated terms for the acquisition of 51.24 <br />acres located on Walker Road and owned by Carl and Willene Heintz; <br />THEREFORE, THE CABARRUS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS RESOLVES to <br />authorize the acquisition of property identified by Parcel Identification <br />Numbers 5650982166, 5650874724 and 5650980173 (the "Property ") for the Mount <br />Pleasant Middle School site and to authorize the County Manager and County <br />Attorney to complete the acquisition agreement, placing the title to the <br />Property in the name of the County. <br />Adopted this the 20th day of July, 2015. <br />/s/ Stephen M.
